Giving Back to Communities
We’ve built our brand on the concept of giving back to communities.
Not only do we offer discounts and rebates for same-day, same-area pickups, but we also donate a portion of our sales. For every 250 pickups in an area, we pledge to give $1000 to that local community association. We also donate used electronics, furniture, and appliances to charities and community centres. To us, creating a movement is about instigating systemic change, and it starts within communities and neighbourhoods across our city.
Sorry, but we do not accept any hazardous or toxic materials. We do take all furniture, appliances, electronics, and other miscellaneous waste products.

Environmentally Responsible Junk Removal
Supporting communities is our mission, but helping to sustain the environment is our responsibility. When you work with The Junk Movement, you can have peace of mind knowing that our waste removal processes are among the safest and most sustainable. Between donating products that are still in working condition, and carefully separating items and materials to be reused, recycled, or repurposed, only a fraction of the junk we collect actually makes it to the landfill.
While you may choose to trash some items, we can take care of donating and delivering them to reputable charities such as Women in Need Society or the Salvation Army. Items that are broken, damaged, or unusable will be disassembled and recycled.
