1) Goodwill

Goodwill Industries of Alberta is a local non-profit and social enterprise, strengthening communities and making a positive impact across Alberta. 14 Second-hand shops and 23 donation centres across the province provide funding for programs dedicated to supporting Albertan’s with Disabilities find meaningful work.

2) The Women in Need Society

Founded in 1992, the Women in Need Society (WINS) is one of Calgary’s homegrown thrift charities. They provide basic needs, resources, and support to women and their families. The revenue from their thrift operations supports programs, like House to Home, Retail Ready, and Warehouse Ready.

WINS is accepting donations of gently used clothing, household goods and furniture.

ALL WINS Family Thrift stores accept clothing and household goods, including their Donation Centre. Large furniture and household goods can be dropped off at the Dover, Macleod or Donation Centre locations.
